The SUV market is one of the biggest car markets out there. So many car manufacturers are now making these things, including those that you would never think would do so. Just look at Lamborghini and the Urus. Perhaps one of the craziest SUV’s that we have ever seen. Even Aston Martin is now debuting an SUV. But out of all the ones coming in 2020, which ones are going to be worth your money?

Well luckily, we can help there. This list contains some of the upcoming SUV models that are really going to be worth every dollar. But that’s not all. We have also included one SUV on this list that it would probably be best to avoid, for a couple of reasons.

16 Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco is a car that is making a very welcome return for many people. The original production run started in 1965 but ended in 1996. 2020 will see the popular SUV return for the first time since the late ’90s. It’s an exciting prospect to see just what the new Bronco is going to be like.

15 Audi Q8

The Audi Q8 has been labeled an “SUV Flagship” by Top Gear, and it is certainly an impressive vehicle. It is a chunky but sleek looking car, with hybrid technology and a whole host of gizmo’s and goodies to give it a luxury feel. LED lighting makes it an interesting place to be, as well as Audi’s own Virtual Cockpit.

The Range Rover Evoque range has been with us for a few years now, and it has gradually become one of the company's most popular machines. 2020 sees the range continue, with the latest and greatest Evoque. It is more comfortable than ever on the road and retains that sleek styling it has become so popular for.

13 BMW X3e

The BMW X3 has been a popular SUV for many years. And in 2016, the company announced they were going ahead with an electric version. Enter, the new X3e for 2020. This all-electric SUV is eagerly anticipated, and if it performs as expected it is going to be worth the wait. There is little to go on right now, but it is one to watch for sure.

12 Aston Martin DBX

Is Aston Martin a brand that you would normally associate with an SUV? Well no, not really. But this year will see them introduce the DBX.

Their first SUV will have a Mercedes-AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 stuffed under the hood, and Aston’s own 5.2-liter V12 will soon make an appearance. It is definitely going to be one of the highest performing SUV’s we have ever seen.

11 Hyundai Palisade

The Hyundai Palisade has become quite a popular SUV since it debuted in 2018, and the latest and greatest iteration is certainly no exception. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all features that can be included in the car, and it’s spacious and comfortable interior makes it a great place to be on longer drives.

10 Hyundai Venue

The Palisade has been a popular addition to Hyundai’s range for a couple of years and now, they have added yet another car to the range. Enter the all-new, Hyundai Venue. This is what Hyundai is dubbing as their most affordable SUV, whilst retaining all the glorious tech that you need to keep in line with the modern driving experience.

9 Lincoln Aviator

Is Lincoln a brand you expected to see here? Perhaps not. But the Aviator is a great machine that debuted in 2018 and now has another version coming this year.

A twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 certainly gives the Aviator a lot of power, with a Grand Touring version also an option. Spacious and luxurious, it is a fantastic midsize luxury SUV and 2020.

8 Mercedes-Benz EQC

Mercedes EQC is the latest under the all-new EQ umbrella of the company. Two powerful electric motors, one in the back and one in the front, combine to give it a whopping 402 horsepower with some utterly insane acceleration.

Stunning on the outside, it is equally so on the inside. All the Mercedes touchscreen tech is there to make your life as easy as possible.

7 Land Rover Defender

Nobody can really leave a Land Rover off a list like this, and that goes for the new defender as well. The new Defender is not coming until late 2020, but it marks the return of the car after it was withdrawn from sale in 2016. So, expect the new Defender to be highly popular when it hits the market later this year.

6 Cadillac XT6

Cadillac launched the XT6 at the 2019 Detroit Motor Show. And for 2020, the company aims to hit the market hard with it’s latest offering. It is bouncing off the success of the smaller XT4, with front-wheel-drive coming as standard and all-wheel drive being a feature on the more premium XT6 Sport.

5 Ford Explorer

Another Ford that many are looking forward to in 2020, the new Explorer looks to add to the expected success of the all-new Bronco. It’s been hailed for having a brilliant and powerful engine, with good braking performance and the Sync 3 system has been found to be very intuitive. It is quite a stylish car as well.

4 Hyundai Tucson

Hyundai’s 2020 Tucson is perhaps not as strong as the examples we’ve looked at earlier from the company. But it is still a great all-round SUV, with brilliant safety features and it provides a solid driving experience as well. It comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen as standard, again with Apple and Android’s infotainment systems being offered.

3 BMW X5

The X5 has been a popular staple of the BMW range for some years now. And 2020 sees the latest and greatest iteration of the X5 hit the roads. A storming V8 provides a frankly ludicrous 616 bhp to the SUV, courtesy of some twin-turbocharged action. The clever suspension setup gives a smooth and comfortable ride too.

2 Kia Seltos

Kia unveiled the 2020 Seltos last summer, and it is the company's all-new compact crossover SUV. Whilst being smaller, it is not lacking in features, with LED headlights shining brightly into the night and some stunning lines giving it some very pleasing aesthetics. It has quite an imposing look to it.

1 One To Avoid: Cadillac Escalade

The original Cadillac Escalade range was never really that great. And the new one is no different. It is still one of the bulkiest and ugliest SUV’s out there and handles like a truck due to its size. It is oversized and reviews have commented that it drinks fuel like no other SUV. Avoid it like the plague!
